The tree cows are reduced to basic shapes and same applies to the tree - just colors and shapes.
The simplicity of the painting and relatively muted bocks of color enhance the pastoral tranquility and timelesness of the scene.
A broad frame would contain the composition in space and enhance the experience.
About Thomas Bertram POOLE
I am an artist presently residing near Dallas, TX. My style is impressionist, abstract and modern. I use oils and acrylics. Favorite subjects are landscape, beach scenes, figurative and floral. Also like cows, horses and Western themes. People walking their dogs! This is a wide field, but strong, happy color and reducing the subject to its core, is my main interest.
